PHS Annual Meeting – Highlights and Key Takeaways

Over 40 residents joined the virtual 2026 PHS Annual Meeting, reflecting strong community engagement. Board President Chris Torto moderated the discussion, and Mayor Steven Meiner provided an informative update on PHS priorities and key City initiatives. All six Commissioners were in attendance, hearing directly about issues that matter most to our residents.

PHS Survey Results
The results of the PHS resident survey, circulated on March 30, played a key role informing the priority topics discussed at the Annual Meeting, and will continue to guide us in our advocacy on the following issues: Police & Security, MacArthur Traffic Backups, Hibiscus Undergrounding, Palm Island Undergrounding, Star Island Water Tower Restoration and Community Events.

Board Elections
The Nominating Committee Chair introduced the proposed slate of Board Members for the coming term, which was approved by a show of hands.
